• Working hard...

  or hardly working?
  
  Here is my dilemma...
  
  I have been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half. We have been living together for almost seven and a half months and he doesn't have a job. I was lucky enough to find a full-time, benefits job, of which I've had for a little over six months. So, basically, I got it together, because my previous job wasn't helping me pay the rent. Nevermind the other lengthy story about WHY we are living together... He has held, let's say three jobs over these six months, for about two weeks each.
  
  He was in jail for a month, before we started living together. (Another lengthy tale.) Before he went to jail he had a full-time job, which he had for about eight months. While he was in jail I kept two jobs, to save a little $ for when he got out, so getting an apartment would be easier.
  
  I guess what I'm trying to understand is why he thinks it's okay not to have a job, or if he really is okay with it. All I get is, "I'm trying..." or "No one wants to hire me."
  
  My family and friends say to ditch him, he's a free loader. My heart's telling me I love him and it's not that easy. I need a little input here!
